Heavy Duty Forged 250mm Diameter European-type Wheel Set, Driving And Driven Crane Travel Wheel for End Carriage, Trolley and Bridge Crane

European-style wheel sets are mainly used in modern European-type cranes. These wheels feature light weight, small size, and easy installation. Most are made of forged wheel discs and consist of four main parts: the wheel shaft, the wheel disc, the bearing housing, and the bearings. Because they need to directly match a three-in-one gearmotor without requiring a coupling, these wheels require high assembly precision. The wheel shaft is made of 40CrMo material, which, after rough machining, requires quenching and tempering treatment, achieving a hardness of HB260. The wheel disc is forged 42CrMo steel, fitted onto the shaft with an interference fit and a flat key. The disc is also quenched and tempered to a hardness of HB220-HB305. The bearing housing is made of cast steel 25-30. Since the bearing housing is bolted to the crane, the crane end carriage must be machined to match the housing via boring, resulting in high assembly precision. The bearings are NSK bearings, offering long service life, reliable quality, and high cost. Due to the lack of a unified standard for European-type cranes in China's domestic crane industry, these wheels are custom-manufactured according to drawings provided by the buyer.
