PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Wire‑wound filter elements are depth‑type filters for low‑viscosity, low‑impurity fluid filtration. Textile fiber yarns (polypropylene, degreased cotton, etc.) are precisely wound onto porous polypropylene or stainless‑steel skeletons, forming a honeycomb structure loose outside and dense inside to trap suspended solids, particles, rust and other contaminants. Proper winding controls yarn thickness and tension to achieve an outer‑loose‑inner‑dense gradient, boosting filtration efficiency and contaminant holding capacity via depth‑filtration performance.
Its filtration accuracy depends on yarn thickness and winding density. Finer yarn or tighter winding delivers smaller pores and higher precision. Meanwhile, the filter medium shall retain stable structure and pore size throughout operation for consistent filtration performance.
